Pakistan demands N-deal with US similar to India

The Prime Minister of Pakistan should be out of his minds while he was demanding an N-Deal with US similar to India. A counter will not become a super power if it has only some nukes, The N-Deal between India and US is not about military it is about energy. US is singing the deal with India because it thinks that India and China are becoming major consumers of oil for there energy needs, and if US doesn’t do any thing regarding the oil consumption of theses 2 nations then there a possibility the price of oil may touch $200 a barrel in the coming months. So US is trying to reduce the dependence of oil for generating electricity by India, by providing access to it N-Tech, so that India will consume less amount of oil. By the way Pakistan has proved that it will not be able to keep any sensitive technology which will be transferred to it. There is a real possibility of that technology been transferred to other states;

Ishmeet Death.

In India if some one has died who as some fame, then the family demands an inquiry even if the doctors inform that it was an accidental death, it looks like that the relatives wants some sound bits from the T.V, which is normally seen in US (15 minutes of fame). I am not suggesting that Ishmeet death is a lose, we have lost a great voice, who has a bright further, but demanding a probe for his death sounds a bit too much, that after a post-mortem was conducted by a team of three doctors of the Civil Hospital following a request from the bereaved family. Life is not fair to all of us; some lives are cut short due to different reasons, but demanding a probe for all the accidental deaths is not what we want now.

Rajnikanth apologizes

To whom Rajni is apologizing to, to a bunch of people who doesn’t have any other job then to raise a un-wanted issue and sit on the roads to block the traffic, dose Rajni thinks what he has spoken on Hognekkal is wrong, Rajni should act with caution in this matter, there are people in Tamil Nadu who will view the apology as endorsing the Karnataka’s point. Rajni lives and works (i.e. earns) in T.N and not in Karnataka and Rajni may have some political ambition in T.N. , which can be spoiled if is unable to take a stand on any issue concerning T.N.

UPA wins the vote.

The UPA won the trust vote on 22nd July. The government got 253 votes of the total 487 votes. Now what, the UPA will go ahead with the N-Deal with the US and Mr.Bush can end his presidency with a clam that he has won a major foreign policy victory. But the UPA and the congress party should remember that the next general election is not far away and they have to tackle the raising prices of food and fuel. The Congress can not go the public with the victory in singing the N-Deal with US, which the common man doesn’t understand. The BJP should focus on the issues which affect the people directly, which a common man can relate to. The cash for the votes scam should be investigated to find the culprits. BSP chief Mayawathi should lookout for both the SP and the congress. The Congress may have won some new friends and lost some friends due to this trust vote. The congress party should work for a single party run from the next election which good for the country.

Cash For Votes

The cash for votes scam has shocked the nation and, the blame was laid on Mr.Amar Singh of SP for trying to bribe the BJP MP's, if it is true the whole nation should bow there heads in shame for letting this happen. Nowhere in the world an MP walked in to the Parliament with 1Cr cash without been stopped, how could this happen, and coming to the bribery issue, Mr.Amar Singh was acting and talking in a way which is not his usual way, he has used the word “prostitute “nearly 5 to 6 times while talking to the media and his body language was as if a thief was caught red-handed. I am not suggesting that the allegation laid on him is true but the way he responded was not what we expected of him. The BJP should not have allowed its MP’s to bring the cash in to the parliament which is a disgrace to the Indian Democracy. The New Channel which had hand should have broadcast the tape as soon as it got it, now the entire media looks like it is trying to have hand in the trust vote.

Ministership will save the government.

Shibhu Soren has asked for a minister ship to vote for the UPA government, we are back to the same old days of horse-trading, why can't the Congress government go for election on the N-Deal and see if people are willing to vote for it on the issue and sign th deal, why is inflation not taken seriously which affects the common man , why can the government do some thing regrading the raising oil prices. Why is the Congress government is so keen on signing the N-Deal then addressing this important issues. If Mr.Soren is given a minister ship , then every one with 1 or 2 MP seats will ask for the same, can PM give in to that. I had a felling that Mr.Manmohan Singh is one of the best P.M India had till now, why is he trying hard to trash that image without any gains.

Have we reached the end

I am a guy who watches news channels for 80% of my TV viewing time. And recently I have noticed that we are going the American way in news coverage and with out any checks and balances in places. Indian news was devoid of any personal attacks and was news till recently which has changed with the arrival of the 24hr news channels. The editors of this new channels are unable to find any worthwhile news to report so are reporting anything which catches there imagination, the recent example is the double murder in Nodia, which was covered like the existence of India depends on it. The father of the girl killed was put on trial in media without any evidence and was convicted of murder of his daughter in the media, Dose the people in media understand the time taken for the family to come out of this trauma, they have already lost there daughter and are been accused of killing her. Dose the media should be held responsible for this with the U.P police who played a major role in it. Late last night NDTV has a program which analyzed the issue and the editor of CNN-IBN was unwilling to apologizes for the mistakes committed by the media, which shows the arrogance in the media and they think that what ever they do will be taken for granted and if some one tries cry foul, they call fall back on the old “Freedom of the press” , the news channels should understand that the freedom come with responsibilities, If the press and the media are unwilling to adder to the responsibilities then they don’t have any freedom. I want to ask a simple question, will the editor of the CNN-IBN will react the same way if his family is involved, I don’t think so. The only think I ask Media is have some common sense and report the news there are other people who are paid to judge, which is not your job in the first place.

Arasu Cable TV corporation

The C.M. of Tamil Nadu has announced that ”Arasu Cable TV" will be beaming signals from 15th July in south T.N. Government is going what is not necessary and not doing what it was elected for. I think that the only government which thinks that T.V is an essential product for the survival of the people is the government of T.N. Nowhere in the world that an elected government as given free color T.V sets. Why the government of T.N is wasting money on such things and not doing anything to improve the stranded of living in the state. The money used to buy the T.V’s could have been used to reduce the sales tax on the petroleum products which would helped a lot more people then a few thousand. The people in power should understand that the government is there to govern the business and not to run them. If government started to run all the business then we will be a communist state and not a democratic state. Let us hope hat the government will stop this type of governing.

Don't rush on the Indo-US N-Deal

I am unable to understand the rush, which the congress government is showing to sign the Indo-US N-Deal. China took nearly 10 years to sign a similar deal, then why India is trying to complete the signing of the deal when there is an opposition , why can't the government explain the deal in detail to all the party's and show them what are the advantages of the signing the deal. If that would have been done by the P.M then he can clam that he has done his part. Even if the Constitution has no provision which requires the present government to get a vote in the parliament when signing such deals we should make a habit of putting the these type of deal before the parliament for vote, so that in the future the no one can blame the present government. Even the The New York Times said “President George Bush, who was eager for any foreign policy win" before the expiry of his term in January 2009, is pressing the Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh "hard to finally work this (nuclear deal) out”, so let us take some more time before rushing into something which many don’t understand and feel bad about it later.
